It seemed like I was missing some pretty basic enhancements, so I finally got around to these and built a new map. I also fixed the way the jump feels. Before … even if you let go of the jump key the player always reached maximum height in the jumps, that’s fixed now. When the player gets near a power up now it follows the player and eventually gets sucked in. When the player or enemies get hit they flash. I’m about halfway done with this map, but I haven’t made all the enemies yet. Pictured in the video you can see ‘glitch swarms’ coming after the player.
